I had been to Jaipur a number of times over the years and rode past the Hawa Mahal without bothering to stop by for a closer inspection. I was standing out the Jantar Mantar in Jaipur when a humble Rickshaw puller pointed to a narrow pathway and told me that led to the rear end of Hawa Mahal. Still I was not prepared to what I was expecting to see inside. This is what I saw.
